I'm raising a guiding eye puppy and the puppy is still at the development center. we requested a female, and I can track all the puppies on the website, but it doesn't say what sex they are. I'm just wondering people's opinions.
Is haven a male or female dog name?
I would guess that 'Haven' is a female name. To me, it suggests nurturing and safety... like a mother would be to her pups.
Reply:I believe that heven means to protect, and that usually fits the dad, by protecting his 'wife' and the mom 'protecting her young'
