What do you think of the male name Blaine?

What do you think of the male name Blaine?
I love it. :) I've only heard it once. Unfortunately, I can never name my future sons Blaine because someone's got it in my family already!
Reply:I like it as a girl's name, especially spelled that way. I knew a boy named Blane or maybe it was Blayne... Something like that, but the way you have it spelled seems too feminine.
Reply:Sounds pretentious and snobby, like you're trying too hard. Reminds me of Andrew McCarthy's character from "Pretty in Pink."
