Please help I need a good name for a male cat.?

My family found a kitten about 4 weeks old, who had been left by his mother. He was trapped under a piece of plywood when he was found. Nobody in our family has been able to come up with a name for this poor kitten. The kitten is a male, he is white with a light brown area on his back and head, a dark grey and light grey striped tail and tiny grey tips to his ears.

Please help us find a name.

He is a male, and he lost his mother. There is an example of the founders of ancient Rome, twins names Romulus and Remus who lost their mother and were, according to legend, nursed by a wolf.

I think that either Romulus or Remus would be great name for this little cat boy.

May he live to sing to the neighborhood at full moon :)

Thorn,Andrew,Derik,Erol, all so beautiful but you should consider what the boy's going to look like first. a very dark or very light haired boy should not be named derik but should have a more striking name to complement his looks like Erol or Thorn. but if he has softer warmer features Derik or Andrew is more fitting.
Reply:I always like unisex names like Andy, Micah, Alex, Ryan, Sean, Nick, etc.....But I love Drew.....it has like that sleek sound to it, yet still mysterious, as to if its really just drew, or andrew, and it can be one of those names that is so short to pronounce, but can often times stick out in your head.

I would let your daughter decide on the name for her puppy. Encourage her to go into training classes with her dog. My male rott is 150 lbs. can she handle this size of dog? Hope that you found a really really good breeder that breeds good temperament.

The name should be based on the personality of the dog. Let your daughter meet him and interact first....then the name will come.

So any website or book that you find with baby names should also have some names you would never use for a kid, but maybe would make a great name for a dog.

I have owned and trained GSP's for 6 years, mostly through rescue. They are a fantastic breed, if you can make it through the puppy stage.

Reply:The blood donor dog that stays at my vet's office is a Pointer. Her name's Judy. Don't think there's a male version of that. Her list of nicknames varies from Judy-Wudy and Judy Pie to other names I won't repeat. :)
