I like names like Sabriel, Raith....stuff like that. Simple but cool.
Thanks! :D
I'm writing a story and I need a good male fantasy name!?
You should think of the name yourself, it will help you to 'bond' with the story, people and even the world.
Reply:I always recommend that a name be chosen for your characters based on their cultural background.
For example, if they are from a Rome-like culture, you will want a Latin name.
If they are from a multi-faceted culture like the U.S., they should have a name that corresponds to the ancestral culture of their family. A third-generation Irish guy will have either an Irish or Christian name, for example.
Develop a background for your character, or, in the case of developing your own world, an entire culture for your character. Once this is done (and it must be done), no one will be better able to choose a name than you.

Reply:Well, it depends what kind of story you're writing. How's Grayven, or Lucien. Maybe even Drayton.
Reply:If you like Latin you could use Vir. It literally means man, and is the root from which we get virile and other similar words.
