Getting a rott for my daughters birthday it's a male any suggestions for a name??

I would let your daughter decide on the name for her puppy. Encourage her to go into training classes with her dog. My male rott is 150 lbs. can she handle this size of dog? Hope that you found a really really good breeder that breeds good temperament.

The name should be based on the personality of the dog. Let your daughter meet him and interact first....then the name will come.

Reply:Our male rottie's name is "Rolex" because he's a very fine watch dog. Our girl's name is Rado for that same reason. We named one of the big pups "Tag Hauer" again for that reason.
